Attention Parents:

Planning has begun for the 2025-2026 school year.
Fall In-Person Program religious education classes will be held at
Mother Teresa Regional School (55 South Ave. Atlantic Highlands)
Tuesdays 4:30pm-6:00pm (Grades 1 - 6th)
Tuesdays 6:00pm-8:00pm (Grades 7 - 8th)

• Classes will NOT be held every week.
  A schedule will be set up to meet the requirements of the Diocese.

Summer Classes

Making summer plans? Classes will be held the last week of June 24-28th,
9 AM to 12 Noon with additional family days required throughout the year. Any questions feel free to reach out to Christine Ferreri: reled@olphstagnes.org

Registration for Religious Education 2026-2027 will begin in the spring. An announcement will be in the parish bulletin. Children entering First Grade in Sept. 2024 should register. Sacrament preparation is two years.

Religious Education Mission Statement

Following the imperative to teach and share the Good News of Jesus Christ, we seek to nurture the faith already present in our parish families by providing learning opportunities for parents and children through prayer experiences, classroom and workshop education, sacramental preparation, and encouragement to live an active expression of their faith.

How Do I Enroll in Religious Education?

Instructions for Registration for Religious Education Classes

Religion classes begin for children when they are in 1st grade. Enrollment begins in the Spring and is advertised in the bulletin, on the marquis, and in the announcements at Mass.

If you have missed registration, please call Christine Ferreri at the Religious Education Office at (732) 291-0272 x 116 for information or fill out a registration form to be returned to the office.

If your child/children have already been enrolled in Faith Formation, re-registration materials are automatically sent home at the end of the class schedule for the next year. When sending in registration forms (first-time registrants), please include a copy of your child’s Baptismal Certificate and the proper fee.

If your student is transferring from another Religious Education program, please send a letter from that parish stating what grades have been completed by your child.
